Sun-sign baseline for February 29 birthdays. For specificity, run your full chart.
Run Your Full Birth ChartIf you were born on February 29, your sun sits in Pisces at approximately 10°, placing it in the 2nd decan of the sign. Pisces is a water mutable sign ruled by Jupiter.
Everything below describes the sun-sign baseline only. ZODIA reads your entire chart, Moon, rising and every planet included, which is where the real specificity lives.
Pisces is mutable water, traditionally ruled by Jupiter and modernly by Neptune, and your sun here lives close to the membrane between worlds. You absorb mood, image, and atmosphere; you create through that absorption. The shadow shows in losing the line between yourself and what you are taking in, and in choosing escape when the better move is staying with what's real. The 2nd decan of Pisces is sub-ruled by Moon, which colors the baseline expression in specific ways.
Moon ruled, this decan deepens Pisces's emotional responsiveness. Decan 2 Pisces feels everything around them and processes it through dream, image, and memory. The work is in not confusing other people's feelings with your own.
Notable people born on February 29 include Ja Rule, rapper, Tony Robbins, author, and Antonio Sabato Jr., actor. Sharing a sun sign with a public figure is a fun footnote, not a personality verdict. Your moon, rising, and house placements are still entirely your own.
Your sun sign is one of about ten major chart factors, not the whole picture. Your moon sign governs your inner emotional life. Your rising sign shapes how you meet the world. Your Venus and Mars place desire and drive. Houses position all of these in actual areas of your life. Two people born on the same day with different birth times can have radically different charts. That is why your horoscope on most sites feels generic, and why ZODIA reads your full chart instead of guessing from a calendar.

Yes. February 29 sits comfortably inside the Pisces window in most years. Your sun is around Pisces territory without significant cusp ambiguity. That said, your full chart still includes a different moon, rising, and house pattern, all of which matter more than the sun alone.
Each sign splits into three decans of ten degrees each. The 2nd decan of Pisces is sub-ruled by Moon, which adds a specific flavor on top of the sign's base ruler Jupiter. It is not a personality reassignment; it is a fine-tuning. People in the same sign but different decans often feel like cousins rather than clones.
The famous-people section above lists verified public figures born on this date. Sharing a date with a celebrity is interesting trivia. It does not imply you will have their career, talents, or temperament.
Most horoscope sites split everyone into twelve sun-sign buckets and write to the average inside each bucket. A Scorpio born October 24 with a Capricorn moon and an Aquarius rising has a different inner life than a Scorpio born November 21 with a Cancer moon and a Leo rising. Generic horoscopes flatten that. ZODIA reads your whole chart and writes to it daily.
Our free birth-chart calculator gives you sun, moon, rising, Venus, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, and your full house pattern in under a minute. From there, ZODIA reads it daily on WhatsApp.
