1. Introduction

Zodia LLC ("Zodia," "we," "us," or "our") is a Wyoming limited liability company that provides personalized daily astrology readings delivered via WhatsApp, along with free astrology tools available on our website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your choices regarding that information.

By using Zodia, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide When You Sign Up or Purchase

The fields we collect depend on which product you are purchasing. The maximum set of fields is collected only for the daily-readings subscription; the one-time Natal Chart Deep-Dive collects a smaller subset.

For a paid subscription (daily readings delivered via WhatsApp):

Name, Your first name, used to personalize your daily readings.
Email Address, Used for account management, billing communications, and subscription notifications.
Birth Date, Required to calculate your natal chart.
Birth Time, Optional but recommended. Used to determine your rising sign and house placements for more accurate readings.
Birth City, Used alongside your birth date and time to calculate your exact natal chart based on geographic coordinates at the time of your birth.
City You Live In, Used to determine your time zone so we can deliver your reading at the right local time each morning.
WhatsApp Phone Number, Used to deliver your daily readings. Must include your country code.

For a one-time Natal Chart Deep-Dive purchase (PDF reading delivered by email, including the OGC × ZODIA referral channel):

Name, The first name of the person whose chart is being generated.
Email Address, The email address where the PDF will be delivered. This is normally the purchaser's email; if you purchase the chart as a gift, you may provide a different email for delivery.
Birth Date, Birth Time, and Birth City, Required to calculate the natal chart. Birth time is required for the one-time Natal Chart Deep-Dive (without it, we cannot generate the rising sign and houses).

We do not collect a phone number, current city, or WhatsApp identifier for the one-time Natal Chart Deep-Dive purchase. The Deep-Dive is an email-only product, with no daily-readings signup, no subscription, and no future billing.

Gift purchases. If you purchase a Natal Chart Deep-Dive for a third party (a friend or family member), you are responsible for ensuring you have that third party's consent to share their birth date, birth time, and birth city with Zodia for the sole purpose of generating their reading. We treat any third-party birth data you submit the same way we treat your own: it is used only to generate the PDF, stored against the purchase record, and never shared with anyone outside the service providers listed in Section 4. If the gift recipient later wishes their data to be deleted, they may contact us at alex@joinzodia.com and we will process the request within 30 days.

2.2 Information You Provide When Using Free Tools

Our website offers free tools that do not require an account, including the Transit Snapshot and the Birth Chart Calculator. When you use these tools, you may enter your birth date, birth time, and birth city. We use this information only to generate your requested chart or transit reading. We do not store this data with your identity, and we do not link it to a subscriber account unless you separately sign up.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit joinzodia.com or interact with our WhatsApp messages, we may collect:

Device and Browser Data, IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
Usage Data, Pages visited, time spent on pages, referral URLs, and click activity.
WhatsApp Interaction Data, Message delivery and read receipts as provided by the WhatsApp Business API.

2.4 Payment Information

We use Stripe as our third-party payment processor to handle all billing, both recurring subscription charges and one-time Natal Chart Deep-Dive purchases. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details on our servers. Stripe collects and processes your payment information directly under its own privacy policy and security standards.

We retain transaction records (the amount charged, the product purchased, the date of the charge, and Stripe's session and payment identifiers) for accounting, tax compliance, fraud prevention, and customer support purposes.

2.5 Information We Collect via the Referral Program

If you join Zodia through a referral link shared by an existing subscriber, we collect and process the referral code embedded in that link (a 6-character identifier we generate for each subscriber) and associate it with your sign-up record for the purpose of attributing the referral to the existing subscriber who shared the link.

If you participate as a Referrer (an existing subscriber who shares your referral link), we maintain a record of your unique referral code, a count of referrals you have initiated, which of those referrals converted to paid subscriptions, and the aggregate count of free months you have earned and used through the program. You can request your current referral code, conversion status, and earned-month tally at any time by sending the keyword "referral" to Zodia via WhatsApp.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide the Service, Calculating your natal chart, generating personalized daily readings based on current planetary transits, and delivering those readings to your WhatsApp number each morning.
Manage your account, Processing your subscription, handling billing through Stripe, sending subscription notifications, and responding to cancellation requests.
Communicate with you, Sending transactional messages about your account (welcome emails, payment receipts, trial reminders, subscription confirmations), responding to support requests, and, only if you submit your email through one of our free astrology tools (Birth Chart Calculator, Transit Snapshot, or Cosmic Type) and tick the explicit consent checkbox, sending a short series of follow-up educational and marketing emails about Zodia. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in every such email; this does not affect transactional messages tied to an active subscription.
Improve the Service, Analyzing usage patterns to make readings more useful, fix bugs, and develop new features.
Comply with legal obligations, Meeting tax, regulatory, and legal requirements applicable to our business.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers, We share information with third-party vendors who help us operate the Service, including our WhatsApp Business API provider (Meta, for message delivery), Stripe (for payment processing), Resend (for transactional and marketing email delivery), Airtable (for lead and customer data storage), our hosting provider (for infrastructure), and AI or computation services used to generate readings. These providers are contractually required to use your data only to perform services on our behalf.
Referrers and Referees in the Referral Program, When a Referee (a person who joined Zodia through a Referrer's referral link) becomes a paying subscriber, we share with the Referrer only the Referee's first name and the date of conversion, for the limited purpose of acknowledging the referral credit. We do not share with the Referrer the Referee's phone number, email address, last name, location, birth chart data, payment information, or any other personal data. Referees are not shown any personal information about the Referrer beyond the referral code itself.
Legal Requirements, We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Business Transfers, If Zodia is acquired, merged, or sells substantially all of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our website before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. If you cancel your subscription, we will retain your data for up to 90 days in case you choose to resubscribe, after which we will delete or anonymize it. We may retain certain information longer where required by law (for example, billing records for tax purposes).

Referral records (your unique referral code, the link between Referrer and Referee, and the count of free months earned and used) are retained for the lifetime of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation, for the purpose of honoring credits already earned and resolving disputes.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), access controls limiting who within our organization can view personal data, and regular review of our data handling practices.

That said, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 All Users

Access and Correction, You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct inaccurate information, by emailing hello@joinzodia.com.
Deletion, You can request that we delete your personal information by emailing us. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.
Opt-Out of Marketing, Every marketing email from Zodia includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking it removes your email from all marketing sequences within 10 business days (typically immediately). You can also email hello@joinzodia.com with subject line "unsubscribe" to opt out manually. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional messages related to an active paid subscription.
Cancel Your Subscription, Reply "CANCEL" to any Zodia WhatsApp message, or email us. No retention calls, no guilt trips.

7.2 California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (a) know what personal information we collect and how we use it; (b) request deletion of your personal information; (c) opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information); and (d) not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To exercise these rights, email hello@joinzodia.com.

8. International Users

Zodia is operated from the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, you understand and consent that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

9. Children's Privacy

Zodia is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will delete that information promptly. 10. Third-Party Services

Our Service relies on third-party platforms, most notably WhatsApp (owned by Meta Platforms, Inc.) for message delivery and Stripe for payment processing. Your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy, and your payment transactions with Stripe are governed by Stripe's terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these or any other third-party service. We encourage you to read their privacy policies independently.

11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as analytics scripts) to understand how visitors interact with joinzodia.com. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your experience on the website but will not affect the delivery of your WhatsApp readings.

12. The Zodia Love Astrology Android App

Zodia also offers Zodia Love Astrology, an Android app distributed through Google Play. Everything in this Privacy Policy applies to the app; this section covers what is specific to it.

12.1 Information the App Collects

Account and birth data, Your email address, your name, and your date, time, and place of birth (including the map coordinates of the birthplace you select). Birth time is required in the app; it is the input to your rising sign and houses.
Partner birth details you enter, The compatibility feature lets you enter a first name and birth details for another person. Enter another person's details only when you are comfortable doing so; we use them solely to compute the compatibility reading for you, we never contact that person, and you can delete them in the app at any time.
Push notification token, If you enable notifications, your device's Firebase Cloud Messaging token, used only to deliver the readings you opted into.
Purchase state, Whether your subscription is active and which one-time products you own, received from Google Play so the app can unlock what you paid for. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play; we never receive your card or payment details.

12.2 Signing In

The app uses passwordless sign-in: we email you a magic link. If you choose Google Sign-In instead, Google shares your name and email address with us and nothing else. There are no passwords in the app.

12.3 Sharing Specific to the App

In addition to the service providers described in Section 4, the app relies on Google Play (billing and app distribution) and Google Firebase (push notification delivery). Their processing is governed by Google's own privacy policy. As everywhere at Zodia: we do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.

12.4 Deleting Your App Account

Delete your account inside the app (You, then Privacy, then Delete account) or follow the steps at joinzodia.com/delete-account. Deletion removes your account, your birth data, any partner details you entered, your reading history, and your push token. Deleting your account does not by itself cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel it in your Google Play subscriptions as well.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
