Deleting your account and data

This page explains how to delete your account with Zodia LLC and what happens to your data when you do. It covers both of our products: the ZODIA daily readings service (delivered via WhatsApp) and the Zodia Love Astrology Android app.

1. Zodia Love Astrology (Android app)

You can delete your account directly inside the app:

Open the app and go to the You tab (bottom right).
Tap Privacy, then Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and its data are deleted immediately.

If you no longer have the app installed, email hello@joinzodia.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject line "Delete my account". We will process the request within 30 days.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription by itself. Cancel the subscription in your Google Play subscriptions as well, otherwise Google will keep billing you for a service you no longer use.

2. ZODIA daily readings (WhatsApp)

Email hello@joinzodia.com from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We will confirm and process the request within 30 days. You can cancel your subscription at any time before or alongside the deletion request.

3. What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove the personal information we hold about you, including:

Your name and email address
Your birth date, birth time, and birth place
Your computed birth chart and any saved partner charts
Your reading history, question history, and app preferences
Your device push notification token

4. What we keep, and why

Some records are kept after account deletion, only where the law or basic accounting requires it:

Payment records. Transaction records held by our payment processors (Google Play for the app, Stripe for the WhatsApp service) are retained per their policies and for tax and accounting purposes, typically up to 7 years. These records do not include your birth data.
Support correspondence. If you have emailed us, that correspondence may be retained for our records.

Everything else is deleted. We do not keep your birth data after deletion.
